Maryland: August 25th - German Car end of summer cruise.

    Date: August 25, 2007

    Time: 11:30am

    Meet Up:

North Parking Lot at Silver Diner, Rockville
    11806 Rockville Pike
    Rockville, MD 20852

The Plan: To end up at Whites Ferry and on the way stop off at a few locks by the C/O then make our way back to the Rockville area. Nice country roads to drive on and also a chill ride.

Time: One hour down, one hour back, with breaks to take pictures along the route. So tops about 3 hours on the last summer day!

Schnell Motorsports is already attending, mainly VW/Audi guys who are very chill and are not a rowdy group at all IMO, plenty of cars going and want to see some E30 guys make it out.

If you're in Rockville/Bethesda/Kensington/Gaithersburg you know where the Silver Diner is on Rockville Pike. Be there on time as we will not stay long for stragglers. Hope to see you guys there!!

Nah, I finally got rid of both exhaust systems last month.

Edit Oh, and I have finally taken a pic of my cars...

That's just the order they got parked in, so it's a crappy shot of the 318is.

Cool, another guy w/ a mini and an e30. I've got an 07 mcs in lightning blue.

Dan, need an exhaust? I could weld one up to your liking.

I should be there. Hopefully I'll be able to get my rear suspension in beforehand, but I doubt it. Hell, I might have an excuse to wash the damn thing, anyways

Oh really? I am getting an M-Technic II kit and my 318iS Supersprint exhaust isn't going to cut it. I would need it from the cat back, as close to the car as you can so that it doesn't keep scraping on bumps with some nice dual tips.

That possible? How much you need? Hit me through PM's if you'd like.

I'm very seriously considering losing the Daytona to buy another Mini... We also have a Durango that we can use as a people-hauler (a must with three kids!), so I don't really need the Daytona, it's more of a toy. But that Mini is a hoot to drive...

I need to get some decent pictures of the 318is - I keep waiting for that perfect day...

Here is one, anyway, with the rear bumper off...

Thanks for the PM Dan, I'm game!

I really hope my Azenis RT-615s come in by this weekend. I will however, bring my wannabe DSLR, fully charged. :)
