Possible FDR Park meet, Philly PA

I want to organize a philadelphia meet at one of the picnic areas at FDR Park in Philly. This park is very easily accessible by all major highways (incl. 95) and is located just across the street from all the Stadiums. It's a great location with more than enough room.

Let's set a date? I will be there in an E30 onviously :)



I would love to have a hige turnout- I am shooting for the beginning of spring/end of march meet. I want plenty of time to make this a worthwhile event.

fdr park has like 8 huge parking lots, or more. it's pretty smooth, i took a cruise in my rabbit through the whole park today to scope the scene out

i'm thinking the end of march? just looking at my calender i am seeing the 21st and 22nd and the 28th and 29th. those are the dates of the last two weekends in March. or maybe even the first weekend in april?

Should be reasonably warm by then and all the salt should be off the roads.

I agree with that! I think most people's cars are torn apart for winter anyway.

the first sunday in April is April 5th. Can we agree on that? Should have the iS running in tip top shape, and may even have paint on my vw rabbit by then. (not that it matters)
