University of Maryland Meet?

I might try to make it up there for the day. Hopefully i can get my new rear bumper in time.

I got rear ended like 2 weeks ago and I need a new rear center section for euro bumpers and new brackets. I have a small dent below the drivers side tail but it didn't mess with the paint so I will just roll with it till I can get it popped. The check is in the mail from insurance so hopefully I can get stuff soon. I can probably still come I will just have a 95k minty e30 with a f-ed rear bumper.

i go to school there so naturally i'll be there as well, unless something comes up

i will be there, but in my daily (in my sig) cause the e30 still needs a motor. i will be near the SRT (swift racing technologies) setup, should also be another tercel there too (red, with big front mount)

We should organize this better, and go "together" or at least know where each other will be at. Or else, I have a feeling we will be super scattered. I live in college park, about 1.5 mile away from campus right off the beltway, those that want to go together we can meet at my place. and you can pm me for direction. We can even do a bbq just for the e30 group if desired. well LMK if this is of any interest.

This sounds like a plan... I'm up for a BBQ.

Some things we can think about discussing:

- Meeting at thereisnoyun's crib PRIOR to the CPT meet (set time and place)
- Meeting at thereisnoyun's crib AFTER the CPT meet (set time and place)
- BBQ? List items each individual will bring for the BBQ?
- Beer? It ain't a party without beer... maybe a BYOB deal? I am more than willing to provide beer to the minors in the case they are attractive females.
- Parts? Who doesn't like drinkng and wrenching? Maybe (depending on the time the CPT meet is over) we could have a install-fest or something. If you have something you need help installing or some maintenance items to check off, bring them along? Gives the folks that don't enjoy sitting around and talking to strangers something to do? ;)
- If we do the parts/install thing, then maybe list the tools you can provide or what have you.


I duno... just throwing out some ideas. The parts thing may not even be a possibility depending on thereisnoyun's HOA and parking lot situation.

Exactly. I think we should meet up somewhere AROUND the CPT meet, because we have a lot of people coming from around the area. We need to get there early so we can have a decent parking spot with the other BMWs and so we can actually get a good line up.

unfortunately, I have no driveway. I use my friends garage down teh road. Wrenching is possible, at teh apartment parking lot, but it'll be a bit illegal.

I only have a small bbq grill, so if anyone has any of those portable grills we need to coordinate it better.

Hell if we really want to do some wrenchign we could just do it at the meet. Its an open parking lot. We can bring out the tools.

What we should do even is to just go there, find a parking location, set up sme portable bbq stuff going, and do the wrenching there, while we mingle. If that is possible. Kind of like having our own diy meet/bbq/cpt. I think we have a better chance of attracting pretty females for amit that way. :P

If anyone coming has a fender roller, it would be much appreciated if you could bring that along so I can finally stretch/pull/flatten my fenders and stop cutting up my tires.
