My Dad grew up in Webster City, I was there last in the early 80's. I grew up in Cedar Rapids. Webster City is really a beautiful little town, but not much to do. If you're looking for the closest good time, take a trip to Iowa City. You'll totally forget you're in Iowa.

LOL thanks man, I am country boy so the lack of a night life dose not bother me. I just got to used to the millions of acres of public back country to go hike and ride in. This nothing but flat ass farm country is killing me.

There is a group of us down here in Cedar Rapids. Could be some r3v'ers in Ames or Des Moines... but I don't recall seeing many. Unless you hunt/fish/farm it's a challenge to find things to do around here.

What reluctantly brought you to the middle of Iowa?

You're only about 3 to 4 hours south of us in the Twin Cities.

Yeah I know I think I will make a trip up to Gods Country and see what all you guys are up too up there, and then head up to Dluth to see all the little woman's family, they are mostly from up there.

I have no issues with hunting fishing and grew up on a farm in S MI I just came form NW MT. I am living on an old farm here, lots of rehab to make this rental livable.

What brings me here, I got out voted, I work out of town much of the year and her ma and dad came here for a job, so she wanted to be close to them and not live alone while I am out working. So I came with kicking an screaming and dragging my heals and just cant wait till I can go back home to MT.

I was going to mention, you are only a couple hours from some great lakes up in MN. That's beautiful country.

I passed right by you this weekend. Went to Sioux City (via Hwy 20) to visit some family friends.

Are you a trackrat? Once I get the s14 back in the car I'll be going over to Blackhawk Farms a couple times, and up to Road America in the fall.

"The wind always blows from the Nort in Minnesota, because Iowa SUCKS"

Guy: Nahh have not been able to make it to anything of the sort in a long long time, I am normally not home enough or at all in the summer. Mn is great country once you get east and north a bit unless you are right along the river most of the western 1/2 2/3 of the state is just like here in IA, flat as a pancake and wind swept not my idea of great country. I have been all over the northern tier of the country.

Next time you pass this way hit me with a PM, if I am still home.
