For the St. Louis area crowd.

Ever want to say you sponsored a race car and have your picture taken with it, accompanied by a beautiful woman?
We're building a car for the 24 Hour of LeMons race at Nelson Ledges, and you know what ... it's expensive!
So, to help with some of the costs,, we thought we'd throw a party and raise some money by giving YOU the chance to be a big time race car sponsor!
Oh yeah, you're tempted, read on ...
Come join us and hang out if you like, but for fun and fame, give us a measly $20 donation and:
1) You'll get to write your name on the side of our "Barbie Must Win" Race Car!
2) We'll take a digi pic of you pointing to your name on the car
3) We'll take a digi pic of you with Ali, our beautiful spokesperson Barbie model and reigning World "Miss Westport Plaza" champion ... Ali will be dressed in stunning beauty queen attire, so try not to look like a slob
4) We'll even feed you ... your choice of Barbie Q'd pork chops, brats, burgers, some side dishy stuff (we'd appreciate if folks could help with some extra sides), bottled water, but BYOB or otherwise we'd go broke
Cheapskates can pay less, $15, but lose out on the Barbie Q food ... Barbie Q food alone is a $10 donation, so the best bang for the buck is the $20 package which gives you food, sponsorship, and great pics taken by Keith, one of the area's top track action Photogs around
Don't care about any of this and just want a pic of your car and you standing next to a beauty queen? Sure that works too ... for a $10 donation "Miss Barbie Must Win" will pose with you in front of your car, but hey, you won't be a famous race sponsor, so go for the the full $20 package instead
All pics will be emailed to you, so don't leave without leaving us your email address
There's also a Show & Shine contest ... okay, when we say "contest" we're talking a really, really informal contest where Ali, Keith and the Barbie Must Win drivers kinda' jaw bone about favorite cars. If your car is one of them, you win a free pic of you and Miss Barbie Must Win posed in front of your car
The facts:
When - September 20, Sunday, 1:00 - 4:00ish
Where - Creve Couer Lake Park near 270 & the Page extension ... no money to reserve a fancy spot, but a pink car, beauty pageant winner and a bunch of enthusiasts' cars shouldn't be too hard to spot ... we'll be set up along side the lake front area somewhere. Here's a map:

Below is the concept for our team, which earned us entry into the LeMons event ... it's sure to attract some media attention on sites like http://www.jalopnik.com, thereby making you famous!
"After a bitter divorce with Ken and having to give up her prize California Convertible Vette, now it's Barbie's turn! Barbie sued for Ken's '83 BMW 6 Series and formed the Barbie Must Win racing team (BMW for short!). Sponsored by "Mattel" and the "Feels Real Plastic Surgery Center," the team consists of super-Amazon "women" sporting hot neon hairdo's, but due to testosterone therapy to help them better compete, have lost some control over facial and chest hair growth, please pardon their appearance and don't stare. Nonetheless, the team's hot pink & silver "6ex Series" BMW is ready to show this male dominated sport not to mess with a bitter woman and show Ken what a mistake he made ditching her! Barbie Must Win!"
