I'd be down with getting together sometime this fall. I've finally gotten around to doing the manual swap I planned a last year. :)

Trying to finish it up tomorrow/early this coming week after working through a few....difficulties.

I have a bunch of random parts from an '87 325i. Like a 3.73lsd, h1/h4 headlight conversion for the sealed beam guys that I'll be selling in the near future.

I may be interested in your H1/H4 setup. Sealed beams are FTL.


I'm amused. You also have an '87 325i with a slushbox and a 3.73 LSD. It wouldn't be Royalblau metallic, would it?

I must explain further. I have two e30's, an 87 325i that I used for parts and a '91 325i that I drive. The parts car has the 3.73 ls and my driver had a 4.10 ls since it was auto. i've decided to keep the 4.10 in the car after the swap and see how it works out.

The h1/h4 setup is awesome. The cutoff looks so cool and the bulbs I have in there are such an upgrade.

I'm looking for all four windows from an early (84-87 IIRC) 4dr e30. I'm swapping my 1991 318i over to manual windows and the glass is different and the late glass will not mount to early regulators.

If you know of anyone who might have them or if you've seen an early 4dr in a junk yard or something, please let me know!

Oh, and if you didn't already know, I have a metric shit ton of e30 parts that I'm selling. If you're at all considering a dohc swap, I've got 3 motors that I need to sell...

I'm also looking for rust free late fenders for an e30 (not convertible). 2dr or 4dr are the same.

It seems that I'm picking up an 86 325e 4dr that's got manual regulators and glass that I'll be using.

I texted him and found out he had stuff that I wanted and it just kinda happened...

I still need decent condition front fenders if anyone has some....

I've got a friend who is rebuilding/restoring an 86 325es with his 15 yr old son and he's looking for clean fenders and a good condition rear diving board. I told him I'd find some.

I'm also looking for grey checkerboard fabric from a seat or seats and door cards, need to fix a seat...

Is anyone going to be around this weekend?

I need to swap front and rear subframes from one car, an 85 323i, over to an 86 325es.

I've never done this before and I don't know how long it will take.

I've also got a few motors to pull out of cars and whatnot. It could be a grand ol' time!!

I guess I could use as much help as I can get. I can buy beer and food and reach arounds and whatnot, that's not an issue, I just need to get it done...

Anyone going to be around and want to lend and helping hand?

I will probably be buried in HW with my Finite Element lab and Numerical Analysis lab but I would consider getting bad grades on those/pulling all-nighters for some 5spd swap parts :razz:
