It was just political BS, he lived his whole life in Chicago and then Obama gave him the job and he moved to Washington to do it.(like you do) He still owned his house in Chicago and still had stuff in the closets and attic but because "someone" found a rule that says you have to live in the state 1 full year up to the election he was taken to court where the court ruled against him. The decision was later overturned and he won in a landslide.

Not true the rule is you must have Physical presence in the state aka why I despise Mass. I had to pay taxes to a state that I did not reside in for 5+ years as I lived abroad.

But Like I said I missed that, can I have my 5 years of taxes back?
