So I am very new to BMW's (VW for life) but wanted to know if there are any members who meetup in the KC area. I'm in lawrence but down for the drive to KC.

Oh and I would love for someone to look over my shoulder as I do the timing belt, tensioner, Water Pump and Cam seal. I'll provide the beer or whatever.

There are some get togethers and events but not tell it gets a little warmer and everyone has taken their car out of winter mode.

Lots of good threads out there for a T-belt. Bentley manual is recommended. I can email you all of my links i used that had good pictures when i did my whole top end last thanksgiving.

When are you planning on doing yours and do you have a garage?
