So, why are you looking to trade? I have a 4-door 325 SETA 5-spd that I might be willing to swap...

Well, maybe we should talk about a possible swap...

I have an `88 325 (SETA) sedan. 5-Speed. Transmission shifts smoothly. Motor runs great, but needs a valve adjustment, which I'm planning to give her next week (I'm on vacation - WOOT!). At the same time, I'll be swapping out all the coolant hoses with new ones, replacing the starter with a brand new one (no issues with the current one, but I figured I'd just pop a new one in there while I was doing everything else), swapping in a new rotor and distributor cap, timing belt and tensioner, water pump, radiator mounts and thermostat.

The car has brand new PERFECT Hella smoke smilies and brand new IE wires. I also just put on a brand new oem coil.

Chasssis-wise, I have purchased, but not yet installed, a 3.73 LSD, new Billstien Sports (front and rear), H&R Sport Springs, IE swaybars and hardware, new diff bushing, new trailing arm bushings, new rear subframe bushings, new control arms, new tie rods, new half-shafts and new SS brake lines (DOT approved).

I have also purchased pretty much everything for the 'e to i' 327i swap. I model head, throttle body, intake manifold, 173 ECU, vaccuum lines, MAF, etc.

The car is on gold powder coated 17x7.5 BBS wheels with hub-centric spacers. Very minor rash on the 2 right wheels, but you have to look for it. There's a really bitchin' MOMO leather steering wheel, with a pretty rare official BMW/MOMO horn button.

The paint is (was, really) Schwartz, but the paint is shot. A/C doesn't work, and is still set up for R12. Black leather heated front sport seats, but the rear bench is still the stock blue-ish/gray cloth seat. Front driver's seat needs to have the bolster re-upholstered. I have not installed the center console with the seat-heating wiring yet, and cannot confirm that it works ( I do have the console, switches and wiring for them).

ZHP shift knob, Husco armrest in pretty darn good condition (not installed yet, though), and probably a few more little things that I'm forgetting.

I am not willing to do a straight swap, but if you wanted to swap your car for my car with maybe some of the parts I've bought (not all of them), or if you wanted to swap your car + cash for what I've got, then lets talk. If you're not interested, no worries!

Just to clarify, the reason I'm considering this is that I'm more of a coupe guy than a sedan guy, although I gotta say that my 4-door E30 is growing on me!

ok guys here are the trouble spots on the car, thankfully not too hard to repair.

jack tray and also the worst spot on the car.

                      battery tray

jack lift square thing. factory jack points are solid though.
