M50 swap help in eastern Iowa

    Hi guys.
I have had a m50 swap in progress for awhile now and have been busy with high school and sports. I recently found a local guy who said he could finish the swap for me but I just got a call telling me he was backing out. Now if I can't find anyone to work on this I will try to finish it myself but I am a bit inexperienced and don't know everything I am doing and my parents would rather it be done professionally. Basically I am looking for someone to help me, or just finish the swap themselves. Give me a pm if you are interested in helping. Thanks

    Chaz,

You're a bit too far for me to able to help you physcially, but am happy to offer advice. What parts are you stuck on? It's not that complicated, really...

I honestly am thinking I will be able to do this. I just had been a bit nervous I suppose. Football season will be over soon and I will have more free time to work on it. Hopefully after I get it dropped in everything should be pretty obvious. There are just a few lines in the engine bay like AC and oil cooler lines that I wouldn't be sure how to connect, but I also have a Bentley manual and will read that somewhat too.
      Thanks for the reply.

        Chaz,

You'll most likely need to get some custom fittings made for the A/C lines. The oil cooler will not be able to be used, unless you buy an adapter for the M50. I'll try to find a link to one that Guten Parts sells.

Again, feel free to reach out if you have more specific questions. Cheers!!
