If we do one in the Toledo area I have a great idea on where. Maumee Bay state park. My first thought is that the parking lot is right on the beach so it would make for some awesome photos.
Also we could skip any fees and not rent anything there if we didnt want to, and just use the free grills all over the place. There is a resort on the property so anyone that wanted could spend the night.
The other option there would be to rent one of there cabins, then we would have our own place and our own lot without gawkers.

Is Akron an acceptable local for those that are interested? If so there are all kinds of metro parks in and around Akron that we could do have it in. If not, then where? I don’t really care where we do it. Would we want to do that same sort of thing we did today with the prizes and food and all that, or something a little more casual? Like I said I’m more than willing to help get things set up, just give me an idea of what people want to do.

Akron is fine for me. How about down by Quaker State. The rail area. Since it is closer than Col, or Tol, maybe the Northerners can assist you in the preparation stages. Also, we want to do it soon so that we can spend some time with Franco. He is headed back to Iraq, I think, and we want to kick it some with him as a group. And secretly--maybe not so secretly--pray his protection while he is over there; as a group. BMW can also stand for Bless, Ask for Mercy, and seek Gods Wisdom for our friends and brother. I just met Franco, but he is a leader, and we need to see that he gets to lead more than, no slight, Marines.

I'm still pulling for akron! I have contacted Akron Metro Parks and their outside shelters are available for May. Here are some possible lo-cals...

Sand Run it has 12tables/ so about 96 people with 4 grills...

Tuscarawas Shelter is also 12tables w/ 96 ppl 3 grills...

I have not been by these in a while so I will check to see the parking areas, I am looking to set a date of May 12th around the same time of day as todays! I am willing to org. everything that we could need. I will also take care of the cost of reserving what ever shelter fit us best. SO...Everyone Speak UP if this could/would work for you:

Wow I am impressed last time i checked this thread it had like 23 pages and i work up and checked it this morn and there are 5 new pages, damn you post whores. I still won't have my car done in a months time unless there is a miracle.
