HOLY Mileage on that A4! When I went to their little get together a few weeks ago there was a sweet A6 on h&r coilovers, a 1.8t wagon, and my buddies S4. All nice cars, but it would be nice if I wasn't the only bimmer guy there.

They meet on the north side of Nordstroms, you could probably get some contacts or ideas for fixing up that A4.

07 STi. I had one guy follow me to Winter Park just to try and intimidate me cause he was in a truck and I drifted past him on one of the 2-lane switchbacks. Good times.

I like to pass/ race SUVs in the iX, but now I am a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles because I am afraid the timing belt is going to break at anytime. I replaced it like 6,000 miles ago, but that was 6 years ago. So I try to keep it under 4000rpm.

Did you have a turbo on your Sub? Would have been nice at high altitude

Exactly same for me... I dunno, but I can usually pass out. I really miss having my Subaru in the winter... I would be blowing by people going through the pass headed to Winter Park.

That is fucking hilarious! I know the feeling though, but I can't sleep when someone is driving, I feel I have to stay awake to make sure they are paying attention.

Well, I'm not gonna be driving on the 17s. I have bottle caps with new / crappy tires on them, they should be fine for just tooling from home to school, etc. Trips to Denver, or something I don't wanna do, I can probably borrow a ride, or.... stay home? lol....

I will probably be at Copper / Winter Park / MJ on a regular basis this season. I have been for years. My friend picked up a newer f150 last year and we just take that. No issues yet, but I'm glad I sleep on the way up cause I know my friend is a terrible driver and I'd be scared shitless if I had to be awake for it... I usually sleep up, drive back.

Have fun they are pretty tail happy. the 245s I have on mine just act like a zamboni and smooth out the snow. I couldn't make it out of my neighborhood last year when there was like an inch of snow on the ground. (Uphill section) The ix kicks ass though, it will plow through anything.
I used to have a 325e that I would take skiing, it did fine with snow tires. Only had a couple of scary moments were the back end tried to take the lead.

yeah I need to get the heat fixed in my iX fast, cause this car doesn't do well in snow at all. The audi guys usually meet at Flatiron crossing on thursdays at like 530-6, but they were talking about doing the shoot at 29th street I think.

Yeah, lemme know. I'm not workin, just goin to school so my schedule is pretty wide open. I'm kinda upset that it's getting so cold so fast cause I don't wanna take my swap wheels back yet.
