Now with pictars! I'm not super happy with the pictures, the car looks a million times better in person, I just suck as a photographer. That, and overcast weather doesn't give the best lighting, so take that for what it's worth.

The car is a 89 325i with 261k on it. I'm owner number 7 or 8, the car has over 50k of track miles/hard use before I got it, and has the original outside-weathered paint. Which is why the transformation is all the more impressive.

Anyway, on to the pics! Thanks are to Ben again for an amazing job. Pay close attention to the quality of the reflections on the paint....the car is like a deep mirror.

This one looks weird because I was playing with the polarizer. I kinda like how it came out though!

And finally, the money shot: the hood.

Guys, get Ben/Bishop to detail your cars. You won't regret it!

Not a lot. Eibach pro-kit springs/sways and Bilstein HDs. I've plans for something different but that's what is on the car now.

Nice work!! Are you on any of the detailing forums? I do my own vehicles, and one or two other cars part time.

Ah there's that car! I saw the E30 in the CU Boulder parking lot last week (Friday I think). The car looked good, what muffler do you have? I was the black E30 parked two spots from you.

Your iS is reaaaaaaaally clean man! I've been wondering whose car that was, very few students take any care of their cars. I did drive it Friday, but it took a few minutes that morning to get un-stuck. I also have the red M3 you may have seen around there. What are you studying?

It's some Borla muffler the PO put on. I really like it!

Thanks! I have done my best to keep it as nice as I can. I hope to have some visual "mods" done to it soon. All my money and time has been spent replacing nearly every wear part on the car.

I am studying mechanical engineering. Currently finishing my 5th year, I transferred from Iowa State after my third year. I have seen a couple red M3's. I think the last one I saw was a E36 on the top level of the parking garage.

Nice! I'm with you on spending everything to fix the damn car, my mod budget has always turned into 'keep-the-damn-thing-going' money. I'm also an ME, 4th year but in junior year classes. There's quite a few ME students on r3v hahaha. I took a year off, came back this sem. If the red E36 has contours and no tints, and holes in the trunk, that's mine.

                          Cheers!
