The E30 decided to dump all of its oil on the ground last night. I guess that's its way of saying fix the damn oil leaks already!

I am confused how it happened. Hopefully the gasket just blew up as I was driving home.

It's transmission fluid. Clutch goes to the floor and doesn't return. Crap.

That would indicate a clutch master or slave cylinder then. Even if the trans has no fluid, your clutch will still function fine.

Well I can't drive it without the clutch pedal coming back up.

Yeah, I'm willing to bet it's your slave cylinder or the soft line. But ideally the clutch master should be replaced at the same time as the clutch slave.

I thought all that runs off of brake fluid? It's transmission fluid that's on the ground.

You're certain? That shouldn't effect your clutch...

I'm coming over. See you in 5.

Clutch slave blew up. My car leaks every fluid so it seems the pool of fluid is runoff that dripped down while the brake fluid was dripping.

How it happened to break while being parked is beyond me though. Luck on my end.
