I've had both and I thought the Beast tasted like cough syrup, but only once I got halfway through the bottle. Maybe I should try it again, because I didn't like Wee Heavy Scottish Ales yet either, and those are quite stout. Bit of an acquired taste, but Skullsplitter is actually pretty good....just not for chugging.
Mephistopheles I think I liked better actually; just a pure evil stout!
Speaking of motor oil, find one called Old Motor Oil. It's brewed in England at a brewery founded by a guy who used to work with Henry Ford. It has a Model T on the label and looks exactly like its namesake. Very delicious! Low octane though.....5 or 6%.
I think Liquormart has had it, and I know Daveco has too. Maybe Total Beverage.FS: assault gear....Originally posted by stoliver54Aw, balls.

Hmm. That actually sounds really tasty! The octane (or price really) doesn't matter for me, I just want good tasty malted beverages. I don't drink often enough for higher priced beer to matter, I rarely have a beer a week.I've had both and I thought the Beast tasted like cough syrup, but only once I got halfway through the bottle. Sean of the dead. Was so so. I could go with some stuff most people haven't seen like Snatch, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, or L4yer cake.
