I'm coming to Boulder

I <3 Colorado. I've traveled up and down the west coast and everywhere in between, never really been east but have heard it's sucky... So far no where is making me wanna move away from here. I ride close by, we do have great beer and a good community, no real worry about crime and gangs and stuff.... SCCA chapter is solid and friendly, BMW club is very cool.... I <3 riding, I <3 beer, I <3 both at the same time. -
I have Copper / WP pass, and I'm always willing to ride with new people as long as you don't slow me down too much ;) I don't do parks really. I can ride the black stuff, but I prefer spending my time just flying down blues and such and making the whole run flow and not having to stop... Love that.Leave a comment:

I will probably be at Keystone most of that week, breck just isn't worth it. I have never been to winter park actually, I should try that out some weekend.Leave a comment:

The tickets are for Breck and Keystone, and I can't afford to buy lift tickets, so I'm gonna be happy with what I can get. I'm already stretching my budget and parting my car out to make this trip work lol. I'll probably be in the park 90% of the time anyway, so unless there's a storm I'm not too picky. I ride at Northstar so I know what a shitty, rich mountain is like.Alka.... Keystone is decent for pow pow.... Breck sucks fat dick... Plain and simple. It's a rich ass town, but the boarding there is like getting raped by Blunt... just not fun.
I'd suggest bringing some $$ to ride Copper or Winter Park (I'm probably willing to go, and you get discounts for tickets there with my pass). Are you old enough to drink? If so I'd also be willing to spend a night on the Hill and end up on the Pearl Street Mall... Good times, hot chicks, good food and decently priced good beer.
I'm only gonna be 20 when I'm there, so it's a no go on the legal drinking.Leave a comment:

Edit: Ride Winter Park if you get the chance... and drink micro brews.... And if you're old enough, go to Half Fast Subs and get a Strong Island Ice Tea.... Rinse and repeatLast edited by Bishop; 01-27-2010, 05:29 PM.Leave a comment:

Ya, I'm super stoked. I've never ridden outside of the Tahoe area since I never had money, but $90 round trip airfare + free lift tickets = spring break in Boulder
I love meat, specifically steaks and brats.very possible meat up with the members here. we love meat ups. we love meat. do you love meat?
But seriously welcome out, there are alot of meets that regularly happen, there is the CUSCC (CU sports car club) that meets twice a month and we R3Vers infest their meets with our flying bricks, there is the EuroBerge European car meets once a month, and we can make a special R3V meet for you, because we are just that cool.
EDIT: can you get me free snowboarding tickets??
I won't be driving my car out, so I'll be relying on buses and my friend's roommates and shit, but if there's a meet when I'm there, maybe one of you guys can swing by and pick me up or something.
Don't plan a meet specifically for me since I have no idea what I'll be doing when I'm there. I'm just gonna be tagging along with her, and I'd feel bad if I couldn't make the meet.
As for the tickets, I have no idea how she got them, she said she got like 6 tickets for buying her season pass at a certain time or some shit. but anyways, she only has 6, and I'm taking 5 of them and the other one is gonna go to my buddy who is coming out with me. sorry.Leave a comment:

I'm coming to Boulder
Flying into Denver the morning of March 21 and leaving afternoonish/night of March 27
Will be staying with a friend who goes to CU.
I'm pretty sure I'll be snowboarding everyday at Keystone or Breck. She's on the CU snowboard team and has free tickets for me, so I'm really just gonna go with the flow.
possible meat up with some r3v members?Tags: None
