Glad it was only a few scratches on the e36, I had a similar experience as a new driver years ago. Only it was an airborne Buick lol, sometime I'll tell you about it over beer!

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

I know its only Sunday night, but I'm in for this thursday if anyone else is around. I'll make the drive from way down here to way up there...more time to drive the beast.

You'll pass right by me on your way up, we could time it so I get on the highway as you go by and...well you get the picture...

haha, I really have no clue when exactly I'll be done down there though, 7:30 is just an estimate.

Where is the Thursday meet up? I was planning to go to Unser Racing with some friends, but plans could fall through. That would be a fun place for a car guy meetup too some other Thursday.

I might be home in time to meet up. Could be a good opportunity to aim my headlights...

If you go to Unser Racing let me know how it is. I've been wanting to check that out for sometime now.

I went a few weeks ago. It was a blast, but definitely check their website for specials otherwise it can be pricey, e.g. $30/race vs $12/race. Went back on Monday to purchase the discounted annual membership $30 vs $50, and they had modified the track layout.

The original layout was pretty intense with several places you could t-bone a wall at speed if you weren't paying attention. Ask me how I know... well the new course looks faster but safer. Lots of passing opportunities now so it should be fun with a group. I really hope they succeed with the slow economy -- best indoor kart place I've been and it's only 30 minutes from home. Tell all your friends that have any cash and like to bench race.
