                                I'm not totally sure.
                                I believe the design of the 1990 column w/ the airbag is less robust or has more play than the pre-airbag version...I think? its just really loose where it goes through the firewall. Maybe it needs some sort of support there like the ix version has? the knuckle where it connects to the rack is fine, its the shaft going up toward the firewall that has alot of play.
