Ben might have a 4.10 that whines a bit in the very near future.

'tis true, medium cases can fit, but I prefer not to gain the 20-something lbs...

Ah, I didn't know medium could fit. Aren't the small cases supposed to have less friction too?

I am still trying to figure out what I am doing with my parts car. I should know by the end of the weekend.

Yeah, Brad... I've was going to PM you but I guess stumbling across this thread is ok. Diff went in last night, whines a TINY bit, way less than the 4.10. Will let you know soon. 4.10 maybe for sale soon. Sam, didn't you just do new CV shafts?....

That's a little weird. I noticed zero whines when I ran it. You sure it's not tires or something else?

Pretty sure. I'm not complaining, it was just an observation. It's not like "it's whining, I don't want it at all now."

Ben, I did do new CV shafts, but I think they are crap quality. They cost $65 each, when stock replacements from Pelican cost $300 each. I can see about 15 degrees of play in each CV shaft.

I didn't take it as complaining, I must have never noticed it. I can take off a few bucks if you decided you want it.

Hey Brad, does your car have full interior as in back seats and trunk lining?

                            Full interior yes

Trunk "carpet" yes, but no tar.

That could be part of the noise. Ben's car has nothing past the front seats other than a sub.
