    Wrench Session

I've made a semi-serious commitment to the idea of finally getting some more stuff on my car fixed / tweaked....

In roughly 1 (one) week, I think I'll be open to starting a wrench session at my house. I was thinking start on Thursday afternoon / evening and work all day Friday as well... However, that's not going to work... So, I think it'd be probably next Saturday... I have to check on some things, but I think it might be a doable option...

If everything goes according to plan, I'll be doing a hood release cable, rebuilding 4 calipers, installing SS brake lines, and changing out my brake fluid once more. I'll also be going over my car and checking things like spark plug condition, oil and fluid levels, tire pressure (I need to do a rotation really bad as well), and various other things like that... This might not work out at all anyway cause there's a car lined up to be detailed that I haven't really talked to the client about.

I have a good deal of tools, but I know it would be nice to have more... So if Sam were to come, your tools would be nice, Sean, yours too. Peter, your tools would prolly help, as would David, etc. etc. etc....

I'm not officially posting a "Wrench Session at this location at this time" kinda thread... Just wanting to see who might need what done, and if we get a few sets of hands who've done this stuff in the past, it could go smoother.... I also have a Bentley.

I could be down to change my diff fluid, assuming the car is running and driving by then. Otherwise, the Scoob needs some minor things done too.

Keep me updated on the dates, I believe Roland and I are going to get my car finished off Thurs or Friday evening.

I dunno, that's your call. I want my car fixed, so if Thursday's when that can happen, it'll happen.

All that needs done on the car is to bleed the damned clutch slave cylinder and recharge the battery.

Put it on a charger now? I'm guessing you were calling me for a power bleeder to do the slave? I don't have one, what about Garret? If not, hit up an Advanced Autoparts or something, they rent tools... You put down a deposit, use the shit, and get a full refund when you return the borrowed stuff... I went to them to get a spring compressor.

I know he's outta town but even if you call him up, he might let you use it, no? My bet would be on renting one or checking into price from Napa w/ club discount.... If you rent one though and use it ASAP, and charge the battery, you ought to be up and running Thursday night ya?

A variation on that theme. The time taken to drop the subframe is equivalent to just doing the lines.

Ben, if you do end up dropping the subframe, you may as well get some poly bushings. Not terribly expensive, and worth doing if you are in there.
