not a fan of the wicked tire stretch though, you can probably literally touch the inside of the lip of the wheel, since the tire bead doesn't quite reach...

I'm not sure an E30 could pull off matte white unless you are really low, nice showy wheels, etc.

With that said, if the car needs paint and it's cheap what the hell, just do it and it will look better then what it currently is. It could end up looking cool in person, pictures just don't really show it that well.

Definitely a show car, but also has a LOT of get-up and go. He's waiting for the R&D to be over on a blower to scoop it up. It's a beautiful car.

Wait, it's a 328i? Or is he supercharging a twin turboed 335i? Or is it an 06 330i?

BTW- I can appreciate the work that went into the bodywork on the car. It's not my cup of tea (I despise show cars), but I do realize it takes work to make such things.

In before everyone else realizes that "me catching Sam's edit" was me realizing what the car actually was.... M-poster? Yes... Looks hot as hell? Yes... Would I drive it? yes...

Impostor, but here it means a car pretending to be an M but is really just a 3 series posing in drag.

                        Hey Guys,

                        I need some help

I just picked up an e30 and have no idea about these cars. But here is what happened.

The car usually takes a little bit to turn over in the mornings, most likely due to a low battery. This morning I woke up to go to class, no issues, car started right up and after I reversed out of my parking spot, I accidentally put the car in 3rd (manual) and stalled. Since then the car has not started.

When I started the car this morning, I turned the radio on and the blower motor (setting 1 for heat) right before reversing out of the spot.

Could it be that I fouled the plugs up by trying to turn the car over so many times? I just tried jump starting it to no avail. The motor does crank.

Any and all help would be great. I'll be pulling the plugs and checking the battery this saturday, as I have midterms till tonight and have work till 10pm tomorrow, so saturday is the only time I have to work on the car and need some help as I dont have all the tools being in college :(

when I first started the car this morning, nothing was wrong, no jumpy idle or anything.

Definitely look at the plugs and replace them. Could be plug wires/ignition coil.

you scored it off CL? I think I saw that one.

try crank position sensor. That proved to be the problem on a buddies car.

And you don't know anything about E30s? Well this forum is an overflowing plethora of knowledge and ass-hattery, just know how to sift through it.

And I am assuming this is your first E30, judging by your car list in your sig?
