Do you want me to fix these pits for you? It would probably be 50 to do both of them. And i will get you a quote on the 525i asap.

                Alright quotes are as follows:

For pits, 40 for the first and 20 for each after on the same vehicle. This is cheaper than any glass company I have found on the front range. Please let me know if you can find it for less.

                95-99 M3: $220

                89-95 525: $205

Any E30: $150, $170 you want the lock strip replaced OEM

I'm sure if you searched around you would be able to find places to replace the windshield cheaper, but most likely the glass they use will be lower quality and the technician will put it in as quickly as possible. I guarantee all of the work I do and if you have any problems at all with my install I will do it over again.

The silver thing the arrow is pointing to is the lock strip and it holds the seal that the glass sits in tight to the glass. They came in silver and black. A silver one is 50 my cost and the black is 20. A lot of times they get sun dried over the years and crack like crazy when you pull them out so usually they need replacing which is why I would want to check it out before I ordered anything to make sure if it needed one or not. There is also a third option where the OEM lock strip gets replaced with bulk GM lock strip. It would be maybe a dollar and looks pretty good, I have it installed on my car.

All of the glass we get is made by pittsburgh glass works (PGW). Its pretty good and we rarely have any troubles with the fitment of the glass which gets checked every time before being installed.

                          PGW is decent stuff.

You gotta avoid the chinese stuff though.

i may need a windshield in the nearish future. stick around, Myers, I will probably need new glass next spring. No use replacing it before then, as this winter will most likely wreak havoc on my windshield, and the rest of my car for that matter...

I'm thinking the same thing. I'd love to throw some money at you now, but I've lived in CO my whole life.... So I know what the winters will bring.
