Iann, it depends where your house is. I get pretty intimate with quite a few of them. I fly a red glider with a white and black stripe. It has a gray top with a bird logo in the center. I'm notorious for dive bombing people, tourists on Buffalo Bill's grave, cars, bikes, long boarders, etc. It's so much fun and most people really get a kick out of it. The problem is the days when you can do that more than the occasional pass and not end up on the ground are rare. They usually happen this time of year when a good upslope sets up.
I would love to race with some E30's or get some air to ground footage of people on Lookout Mountain road. I've been milling that over with the long boarders for years. It would be worth it even if there was no upslope, just wouldn't last very long!
Here's a clip from last month. I was pacing a lady in a white car at the end - good fun...
Here's another one following the long boarders down on my road bike. I made sure to add the obligatory crash at the end
Chimney Gulch / Apex / Enchanted Forest is one of my favorite rides. I actually got some HD footage of Enchanted Forest last week. The angle was a little off though.
Either way an E30 get together of all of us is definitely in order! It's supposed to be 60 on Friday...
