It was more just a thought. My dog got to my face plate a while back and it bothers me having a chewed up faceplate. Last time I was in there the wiring looked pretty "meh" from the PO, which is why I have been lazy and haven't done anything with it. It currently has a kenwood. I would end up checking if the new kenwoods have the same rear connections as mine and make it simple, in which case I could do it in about 10 minutes. If I need to make a wire connection adapter again I am not to thrilled about it.
