lol..... This thread is solely in existence because of some stuff happening in the CO Gen Chat thread....

I know the price is sketch, but if I have the time and space to let it sit on stands and fix er up, why not look into everything that needs to get done?

      It's definitely fixer-upper-able.

Just needs suspension. Badly. Probably a cooling system and some paint too.

You said you have the M3 tabs and endlinks on the suspension. What sway bar are you using? I have the cabrio 21mm bar with pretty new HD links right now if we would need to do a sway bar trade too. I also have a 20mm front.

I found out I am starting my job 4 weeks sooner then planned, that means more money....

                Sounds good!

I can start organizing/buying hoses on Saturday. I was out of town most of break so nothing got done.

I'm using the stock sway w/ GC adjustable endlinks and the M3 tabs.

Oh, I thought the M3 bar was a different shape, guess not.

I honestly couldn't tell you, I dealt with GC over the phone the whole process, and the dude asked if I was planning on upgrading the sways at all, I said yeah and he suggested the tabs since they were already cutting, welding, coating my housings for me. Didn't cost extra, just had to order the adjustable endlinks too.... I don't remember the reasoning behind it, PM Hellabad or call GC and ask? I don't know if there was any benefit to doing it, but I did it.

There is. It's better to have the tab on the strut for geometry purposes.

I know all about the geometry purposes. I just didn't know the actual shape of the M3 bar was the same as a normal bar, except the diameter is smaller on the M3. I will just have a really effective bar if I use a 21mm bar in the M3 setup.

Keeping the car as-is or ditching the suspension?
