    is Colorado a Shall Issue state? In CA we're May Issue so it's at the discretion of the Sheriff or Chief of Police for the place you live in, and they dont like to say yes here. :/

    ha ha it's true! You also need proof that someone is threatening your life. So pretty much you need to find someone who actively wants to kill you, then get him to sign and notarize a statement stating so.

    That wasn't my point. Any retard can shoot a pistol, but not that many will apply for the paperwork or take the class to get the CCW. Thus, the class is the one thing standing in the way for most people, usually due to cost.

    Compared to other states, it's super easy to get one.

    Good opportunity here for those wanting a CCW/can attend the class.

    I guess I dont really consider those hurdles.... Maybe the age, but that is already a requirement to buy a pistol anyway, plus I don't think too many people uninterested in shooting or guns will be applying for the permit.
