That's because the idea of replacing everything in front of the firewall every 60k isn't some people's idea of a "good investment".

          huge crackhead alert!

How about some comfort seats from a 1984 318i? Own these comfortable seats made of bed springs instead of that pesky foam they put into later model cars. Only a little damage, and for the low price of $365! HA HA HA HA HA HA

The guy clearly researched E30 values then added a few grand for no reason. It's "not a piece of crap", but it has 261,xxx miles, oil leaks, and overheats..hmmmm. The color combo is pretty awesome though.

IX. Wonder how bad the fender is. He needs to ditch those mini wheels too.

                  JOY IS AN E30...

cardinal interior is a plus, and if it really has been garage kept, I would expect the paint to look a little better. Also, they couldn't at least find red duct tape? That gray stuff sticks out like a huuuuge sore thumb.

Also, one missing fan blade would not cause the car to overheat. The fan clutch would simply remain engaged slightly longer to compensate. So obviously it's overheating for another more serious reason.

Brad, how do you know it has 261k miles? It doesn't say in the ad. You must have contacted the seller. Which means you are interested (mildly) in buying an E30. I'll go ahead and point out here that I will take $1300 for mine...

                    ;)

It says 261k miles in the ad. I'm holding off on another E30 for now. I am saving up for something else. I've tried to get my sister to buy your E30, but she isn't going for it yet.

Sure doesn't. Do a ctrl+f search for "261" (after refreshing the ad, he may have deleted it... also fishy)

I could've sworn I've seen that one listed before and it said the front drive axle splines were stripped so it didn't have AWD. Maybe he just fixed it and put it back up?

You are right. He took the miles off. He also dropped the price from $5,500.

I think it might actually look pretty good with a drop on those mini wheels.
