Bleh. The headgasket issue is a problem but there's no guarantees that it will need them.
Just because it doesn't have new ones doesn't mean it needs them or its value is lessened for not having them.
Honestly, the auto is likely the better transmission for that car, weird AWD bias notwithstanding. My folks' Outback of the same gen is annoying as shit to drive smoothly with a manual.

The head gasket is not a 100% failure rate on Subarus. Enough said.
2. Price
Not my car, not my price, not in my drive way taking up space, so I don't care how long it takes to sell. If you have an interested buyer willing to negotiate around market value then please let me know.

I know nothing about Subarus so I can't comment on the price. The only advice I can give you is slap an Obama sticker on the back and that may help sell it.
But I can't seem to sell my '85 325e for even $1300, it's been like three weeks now, which doesn;t make sense to me, since E30 prices seem to be skyrocketing, and I have a good running non-wrecked E30...Comment
