The motor had never been cracked open or monkeyed with. Ran smooth and strong, no leaking or burning of oil, no vanos rattles. The compression when I did it 4 yrs ago was decent though not stellar. 150-170 range across all cylinders. Cal @ asw told me it was fine and not to worry about it, so I didn't.
I had JUST had the valve cover replaced before I sold it.
I put about 10k on the car over the 4 years I had it, about 1000 of those at hpr. Always performed flawlessly. I wonder if the radiator got f'd from the front end hit. I had a custom 4 core all aluminum radiator built by Ireland installed that wasnt cheap. Would suck if its toast.
