I've been there. They are pretty fast once they get up in the RPMs. The course is pretty good and the people were cool and such, just no bumping. Somewhat a short track but it is indoors, we all had fun. They give you printouts of your run with rpm(speed) graphs and lap times, etc.

Worth the $10 a race? Like, how long are they, etc.... First hand experience would be cool to hear

Grizzly Adams gives his seal of approval and declaration of intent.

I'm in, fuck it. Racing then wings/pizza/etc on Thursdays? Win.

Oh, and Brad- you can count for the College pass since your Buff card prolly hasn't expired yet.

Go apply for admission at a community college, then when you get accepted, have them make you an ID. You don't even have to sign up for classes, or at least that's how it worked when I started at Red Rocks back in Highschool.

Free drinks at Chipotle, cheap karting, what is there to lose?

I don't think my Wyoming ID expires for another 4 years either.

I can't remember the exact length of the races, they aren't super long though. Maybe 8 laps? We ended up doing three races and we thought it was a good amount. The karts are quick enough where you need to brake for sharp turns and control your speed in turns or you will spin, etc.

Nice, that sounds better than IMI. $30 / ten minutes which is about 10 laps.

I'd be down to spend $30 or so every month or two on karting, probs more often if I can keep working as much as I am now.

Brad, is this place easy to find? Like, for those of us who never go to Denver, let alone Engelwood...

My wife (Kara) may or may not be in. She did say earlier that she may want to go.

Yeah, the quickest way to get there at night will be 25 to arapahoe, then it's just a few turns. It is in an old warehouse at the airport there so it can get confusing but they have a sign on the building.

I'm in for this; when's the first beat-down?
I've been on site before and the fun is something to brag about.
Lap times are around 22-25 seconds long; helmet wearing (either own or theirs) is required.
Very smooth track unlike Unser Racing; does have several decreasing radius turns.
