Drive/photoshoot tomorrow, Sunday, 3pm, meet in Boulder at 29th St Mall

    Hey all,

After the success of the "cool spots to photograph cars" thread, Erik and I were thinking of getting a drive and photoshoot set up. We're thinking tomorrow since it's going to be nice weather.

We are meeting at 29th St Mall in Boulder, in the underground parking lot by Macy's (same place as CUSCC meet) at 3pm. After that, we'll go find a cool place to take pictures. Peak to Peak road is a favorite, so we can combine a drive with picture taking. Other places are cool too, nothing's set in stone yet.

    Come join us!

If I get up early enough to dig my car out I'm down. Right now it is still lug deep in snow though, I'm lazy...

Wheelgap is like a vagina. The more fingers you get in, the worse it is.

It's super dirty out still. Are these fun pictures or what? I think if I spend an hour washing the car it will still look like crap by the time I make it to boulder.

I dunno man. It is pretty nasty out still. I was going to spray my car down and call it good.

i'd say don't worry about cleaning, like someone mentioned earlier, a good photoshoot can be had with dirty/crappy cars. It will be different from the usual pre-meditated photoshoots anyway, which is good.

Argh. I want to come but the e30 is down for at least a few days until I get the HG done.

Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.

After today, most main roads are 90% dry.
Broomfield near Flatirons Mall was basically clear sailing.
However, I don't know the current status of Boulder and surrounding areas.

I would say a quick wash (no heavy detailing) is all you guys would want.
Enough to remove the excessive white stains of the MgCl.
Looking forward to catching up with you all.

I will bring the Ti. That way the white car will look pretty good with a simple wash. However it does have 4x4 status.

I would be there for sure, but work until 5. Can't wait to see the results.
