Anyone up for a photo shoot this afternoon? (Saturday Feb 26)

We could go check out some of the spots in the warehouse area I found when it was snowing or...other suggestions?

I don't want to go mountain driving with bad tie rods and snow tires, but some photos would be fun. (I didn't go Thursday night because I was too tired and beer and xbox sounded more fun.)

I'm thinking anytime after 1pm, down here near i25 and broadway.

We could meet at the top of the parking garage at broadway and mississippi(south of i25). It is a good meeting place with potential for some good shots.

              Ross, here's my spot:

Why is my freakin wheel gap so bad? I wonder if the PO put smaller tires than stock on it.

Those do look like smaller than stock tires. Also, it looks like you are rocking some positive camber. I have actually seen a few E30s like that, it's weird. Nothing some coilovers won't fix!!

Just checked on tire rack. They are stock 195/65 R14. I have M3 offset control arm bushings, that might be the camber you are seeing??

Stock ride height is just that bad. I thought there was something wrong with my car when I bought it. I actually made a post somewhere about it, lol. Turns out stock is just that high on most cars.

Right, what Brad said is correct, that is normal for stock ride height. E30s were have ridiculous amounts of ground clearance from the factory, we are just used to modern cars these days rolling off the factory with no more than 2" of wheel gap, mostly due to the fact that most cars now come with wheels larger than 20". Take the Dodge Magnum/Challenger/SRT8/whatever for instance. factory 57756476" wheels or some crap

Alex, that's a sweet spot, can you get any distance away from the wall for parking? Is there any room to back away for shooting? I have a really long lens that has some sweet bokeh that would look awesome on that wall behind an e30. I need like 50 feet of backup space and the car would need to be 10-15 feet in front of the wall for it to work right.
