    Poor Audi Boy...

Knew you guys would love this:

"those hipster glasses and that forlorn hipster face. And a Nationals cap? Is that ironic?"

BWAHAHAHAHAHA - love the rendered artwork.

But seriously, how did the 4-ring brand become tagged with the 'hipster' connotation?
Was there a movement that flashed pass me?
Or is that the used Audi's are now financially obtainable to younger people with wanting to join on the 'cool-euro' bandwagon?
Seems like a lot of them are ex-SRT, ex-DSM, or ex-VTEC owners... anyone?

I have no idea, I just always notice Audi drivers are mostly big glasses wearing, monster energy drink, flat billed hat people.

I just can't take them seriously. Vast majority of ironically not-ironic hipsters have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac/Macbook Pro, and iTampon.

iPad is pointless. I have an iPod in my M3 because it was the first to have flash memory at a reasonable price and integration is a piece of cake. There's nothing wrong with Apple products, they have some of the most stable platforms on the market. I get sick of reinstalling my audio drivers on my PC every month because the speakers stop working, and little quirks like that. My Mac(s) have never had such an issue.

Let alone that it happened in less than 120 seconds.

(full disclosure, I have a 2005 40GB ipod from before color screens)

My PCs don't have issues like that either, might just be yours. I don't hate apple, I just dislike the products due to rabid apple fanboys religiously worshiping Steve Jobs's bowel movements.

That, and they're useless for my computer needs.

Coming from a HUGE computer nerd that has done every version of Windows, and a ton of variations of Linux/unix. OSX is by far the most stable/user friendly OS out there. Not to mention the build quality of the unibody AL cases on their laptops vs crappy plastic that is screwed and clipped togher like other manufacturers, etc. Sure you pay more, but they are better systems.

Apple product arguments are the dumbest ones out there. People that hate them always just "dont like them, too popular, too expensive" etc. They make good stuff, end of story.

They make good stuff, this is true.

They're just too associated with hipsters and douchebros for me.

Fair enough. Good thing OSX runs on nearly all hardware now.

So do/did I, until it broke. Stupid hard drive.

I've built 3/4 PCs, all have had that issue. Not sure wtf it is. Never could get a clear answer.

That, and they're useless for my computer needs.
Never had a problem with my Mac. It runs SolidWorks, MatLab, Excel, and pretty much every other engineering software program I've needed without issue.

I do agree about the Fanboy-ism. It's very comparable to the STi/VW crowd, and is very annoying.

When it comes to computers, I'm going to buy the better overall product, and right now that's a Mac, but I'll likely always have both since my Mac can't do everything.
