Yelw highs - really?
Lots of us know HOW, but more to the point - I wonder WHY?
My opinion is that lights are for safety and so you can see (and avoid) obstacles, not for fashion. I worry if your lights are aimed badly, and glare dangerously in another driver's eyes. If you make them yellow, generally they are dimmer, so you are the only one who loses visibility. Lamin-X is one way, XPel is another (I have a set of yellow tint XPel for sale, $12 by first class mail). You can remove the film, the glue is pretty sticky tho. It also keeps rocks from breaking the glass. Clear on all lights is best unless you want the yellow color.
Also, you can buy yellow tinted bulbs for certain lights, or yellow 'caps' for putting over any bulb, these are easily removable and do the same thing but do not make the whole light look yellow. What bulbs do your lights use?
BTW, that is a French light, with yellow glass, in my avatar.Andy says "Be Seen, and Not Hurt!"

Andy Chimes in!
Andy from what I recall doesn't a yellow/amber lamp provide better results in snow or fog conditions? Something about how yellow refracts off of water?

It doesn't. My scoob's high beams are yellow, and when they worked, a maglite was brighter. Oh how I hate yellow lights on my own cars.
Roland had oem french bosch e36 headlights (bosch are the best for e36s) and he got rid of them because they provide no light.Comment
