    Help asap!!!!!

    Starts but dies when I give it gas.. Fuel pump?

    try starter fluid as someone revs the engine. That would show you if it's a fuel problem or not.

          could be timing, could be bad gas, could be fuel delivery system.. many things.

            If it were the fuel pump, it wouldn't start. Starting and then dying isn't fuel pump, but maybe clogged fuel filter?

              /\ had that, would start and run very shitty when i tried to pull away, changed the filter and it seemed to work fine.

                Well I took apart my distributor an my rotor is completely demolished.. There is supposed to be a piece of copper attached inside that completely Gone.. So I've been wondering how my car was even running?? Well I'm gonna change it today and hopefully she'll be running again

                    Could be a bad computer. I had similar issues when i first got my car and it turned out to be the ecu.

                      Ok.. So I still haven't gotten anywhere.. Changed the distributor cap and rotor and spark plugs.. It starts and is VERY sluggish still.. I'm startin to tweak! I'm startin to lean tirades the fuel filter.. I can hear the pump so I know it's working

                        Fuel filter is an easy/cheap solution, I'd do that next....


                        Looking for a clean e30 shell for a project.
