Anyone in CO want to help me with a dash swap?

My interior has become priority recently, as I've figured that if I don't focus on 1 aspect of the car at a time I feel like I never make any progress. It's slowly reaching "completion", but the nasty, cracked dash is slowly driving me crazy and eating at my soul every time I get in my car.

Anyone in Denver/Boulder/FoCo area wanna help me with a dash swap? It won't be in the immediate future, I have to acquire a minty dash first (which I have a solid line on), but sometime this spring it's going to happen. I need a workspace for as long as it takes to do the job, a second set of hands, and someone who has done it before would be a serious bonus. I'm not asking for anyone to do it for me, I'm capable, experienced, and willing. I really just need a space to do it since my driveway is dirt & on a 30 degree slope. I'll buy beers, food, or whatever to make it worth your while. TIA, Andy.

Good luck. Its not anywhere near as hard as some people make it out to be. Its just a bunch of easy steps you gotta keep track of. But yeah another set of hands really helps.

I dont but Ive seen a few floating around. I didnt ever have to "Swap" a dash but rather gut an entire interior and install a heaterbox which is the same thing.

There is a writeup somewhere that is very detailed. If no one finds it I will try to dig it up tomorrow.

I've done it, it's easy to take out, and relatively easy to put back in(harder than removal).

                Best Dash Swap Guide

I also have a near mint dash (one teeeeny tiny crack that you can't see unless you're really looking for it) that I will swap in one of my cars sometime this spring. Maybe we should have a party. It's only about 2 hours for the swap and you only need an extra set of hands for about 5 minutes, a 2nd person would actually get in the way most of the time.

I'm willing to host as I have space and tools...

I'd say let's plan on doing this next month. My wife is near ready to have baby #4 and I can't really commit to anything until after her arrival. I have to go to a wedding in NY the 2nd weekend in may, but we could plan way in advance and have plenty of people show up.

I have an enormous grill so everyone could byom(bring your own meat), we could make it a dash swap and BBQ...

This sounds like a hell of a plan to me.
