Housing in Boulder? (Also, cycling content)

I'm trying to find a place to live in Boulder, and this seems ridiculous since there are so many college students leaving, but I'm having a hell of a time. I'll likely be working in South Boulder, I'd like to be in Boulder proper, and being able to commute to work by bike would be a serious bonus. Any Boulderites have suggestions besides Craigslist? I have a dog, which I know can complicate things, but any input would be appreciated. tia!

On a related note as soon as I find a place to live I'll be working at Boulder Cycle Sport as a mechanic, so feel free to stop in & see me if you need advice, repairs, or a riding buddy! I can't say if i'll be able to hook r3v peeps up yet, but I will say I've been wrenching on bikes for 7 years & know my way around a bike, I'll take care of you!

Good luck on the housing. Boulder can be spendy.

Let us know when you start working. I am a total noob when it comes to mtn bike maintaince and repairs. I am just riding hoping it doesn't break right now. I've had my bike checked out but haven't take in my wifes Yeti yet. Hopefully your labor rates are cheap :)

Good luck man. Most leases around here end July/August timeframe.

I used to live in Table Mesa, I would look there if NNW's place doesn't work out. I got a one bedroom in a duplex there with my own laundry and yard access for my dog for under $600 a month. Being a little ways outside of downtown was nice and it was only a 10 min bike ride away.

BCS and Brandon are good people. Great place to work. I'll come by and chat for sure once you start working.

I'm headed down to check out a few places today, thanks for the tips guys! I'm psyched to explore the area this summer, and definitely get some riding in.

Yup, got a place, and I start work Monday. I definitely plan to be an active part of the e30 community in the front range; I have to work weekends obviously, but any night or weekday stuff I'll definitely try to be a part of.

Nothing really is going to start happening until mid-May, school finishes up next week.
