    PPIHC vs AutoX

Well, I just realized that there is an autox race on the same day as the PPIHC :(
Super bummed as I want to go again and see Mr. Caswell. Got to high five him last year! Well that is some seriously bad scheduling! Now, I must make a decision; race or watch racing...

    opinions?

Not only that, there's an RMSolo and BMWCCA event that day.

I'll probably go to the BMW Club event, I've been having more fun at them lately.

I have never given them a shot. Any reason why you think they are a little more fun?

I was already slightly leaning towards race instead of watch racing, but there is only one PPIHC a year and a lot of autox's!

Dude, it's pikes peak. Once a year, part of history, badass, etc. We will be camping on the mountain this time, last year we had some troubles with wild turkey and timing.

          BMWCCA Events:

4 runs in the morning, 4-6 more in the afternoon, capped at 100 entrants, 30 min. lunchbreak. $42 entry.

          SCCA:

3-4 runs, lots of people, no break for lunch. $40 entry.

For my dollars, I get more seat time with the BMW Club.

Also, a BMWCCA Membership is $40/yr, SCCA is $85/yr.

Damn! That really is a great deal! I might have to give that a shot. Are they ok with having codrivers?

Yup, 2-drivers are no problem. They have BMW-specific classing as well, based on mod "points" and a base-class for your car.
