Need an extra set of hands pulling motor - Boulder

Have the whole front end off, disconnected I think every line and wire. Just need to remove the motor mounts and pull it. I need an extra set of hands to pull it out of the car, as i'm a pretty small guy. I have an engine hoist, but i've never pulled a motor before, and could use some insight as well. I use the little hook at the front of the motor?I will provide either beer, money, or car parts. Looking for help asap. Want it out of the car before the end of the week.

Hook it up in front of motor isnt good enough. Use a rope around intake and exhaust instead, then u will get it out "in balance"
Jack it up till the lift starts pulling, loosen all the bolts on motor mounts/transmission and jack a bit more. Then pull the motor forwards to find out what you forgot to loosen, take care of it and pull the motor further. May need to use some muscles but its kinda easy.

Rope on the intake manifold? Are you f*cking stupid?

Hook the hoist to the hook on the front, and then to the hook on the rear, then hoist up and forward. Comes right out. Double check to make sure you have the ground strap, powersteering, brake booster heater hoses, exhaust, intake, cooling stuff, fuel lines, and charcoal canister all disconnected.

This is an easy way to destroy the head.

You do not need a rear hoist point. Pull from just the front, the engine/trans dangles at a surprisingly manageable angle.
