The most aesthetically acceptable Subaru is the older WRX body style (no idea what it's called) like Preston has.

The GC? I think that is by far the fugliest car they've ever produced. And it's flimsy.

Yeah V70R's are cool; but I believe the awd tranny setup in those has a poor reputation, and high repair cost.

No the problematic one is the 01+ V70XC/XC70 AWD "Geartronic" tranny by Aisin. It's a pile of shit. $3000 pile of shit.
