My jeep rides better then H&R sports and billys. If you want stiff, just get stiff, the ride is going to be pretty lame anyways.

My ride was perfectly fine lol. Just cause you're buying coilovers doesnt mean the ride's gonna suck

PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

        + 1

        I drove Ben's car a while back. Didn't suck.

Coilovers can be as soft as you want, you can adjust the Konis and buy low spring rate springs, and lift the ride height. Rally cars all use coilovers.

We have different meanings of "suck". I'm not talking bouncy or clunky or what not. An E30 with stiff springs will ride stiff, nuff said.

so in conclusion, "stiff" does not equate to "suck"

Yes. So if the OP or anyone doesn't care about luxury DD duty. Just get GC/AST and don't worry about what the ride will be like. :)

Yes, what Brad said. Go GC. Save up $1500, and do it. It is worth it, I hear this from every single E30 owner w/ GC.

So I have been contemplating selling my Billy Sport/H&R Race suspension off of my E30. Amazing suspension, but I am contemplating going to a more rally oriented suspension. I know... big change of plans here. But I am still unsure, I have to think about it.

I could be interested in the springs depending on when you decide to sell.

Yeah i still have to decide if that is the route I really want to take. We will see how it pans out w/ the E28 and whatnot.

What type of suspension would you consider more rally oriented and who makes it for an e30?
