Just put trumpets on the end, use MSIII or equivalent and you don't need, airbox or maf.

I have no idea how to do any of it acutally as you can see by my previous ramblings. I say someone needs to make an itb setup that is basically bolt on, tune and go, and if possible, not for the price of a small home.

Dbilas makes a baller kit. But I think AR should make a kit. Probably not worth the time though. Turbo E36's is a much larger market.

trumpets without a plenum is pointless. No plenum means you lose the effect of resonance inside the plenum that roughly-speaking uses cyl5's incoming air vacuum to help pull cyl 3's next intake charge in. Without a plenum you lose that, and a significant amount of power and torque as a result

Whatchu talking about? You have TONS of space over there...

As for advantages over euro... Looks cleaner (Not necesarilly this one, it was made from scratched up ugly material), I'm sure it holds more 5"x7"x9" and it's not plastic.[/QUOTE]

Disadvantage: can't see how much coolant is inside without popping the cap.

This, it's easier than it sounds once you get going. :)

Do you guys have an easy/cheap way to check air/fuel ratio across the revs? I could go to a dyno, but was wondering if you had a different way to check.

Pretty sure they have a wide-band sensor they can hook up for you.

That would be ideal. I've been getting off/on CEL at idle cruising speeds. I am suspecting the 93 octane tune, 91 octane gas, and larger injectors, and altitude is too much for the poor ECU to correct properly

Standard lambda code. Here is a list of what it's supposed to say.

1222 - Lambda control fault code is produced when Motronic system in Bosch control unit receives signal indicating that air/fuel mixture is either excessively rich or excessively lean for period of time loner then 10 seconds. Majority of the causes that affect drivability of the car can be responsible for DME flashing this error:

                    air leak
defective Air Flow Meter ( AFM)
                    bad engine temperature sensor
                    incorrect fuel pressure
                    problem with injector(s)
                    defective evaporation system
                    empty gas tank
                    issue with spark plugs
                    problem with valves
                    etc.
