    Motor/Tranny mounts

So, I am in desperate need of some motor and tranny mounts as they are shot. First, suggestions?
Second, anyone have a reason why this is not a good idea...http://www.harrisonmotorsports.com/a...e-version.html

    Thanks

AKG has great mounts, but buy from AKG direct.

    Avoid UUC at all costs.

Ben and I installed a set of AKG motor mounts and it only took an hour while drinking beer and goofing off and they are pretty nice pieces.

Mine weren't AKG... I got mine from a member here named Silence who makes his own mounts, they're cheaper, same quality, and worked great... If you have the time to cancel and look into Silence's pieces, I'd suggest that just to help another forum member out (and a GRM car at that), but if you need em now, AKG is prolly fine...

The STi had some AKG and I wasn't too impressed... It's hard plastic, don't sit at your computer and tell me you're making a life or death decision between brands, it worked more than adequately. :)

AKG doesn't make parts for STis.... stop bullshitting Ben.

And if it was just hard plastic and there's no difference between brands, how does UUC manage to keep screwing it up?

                            Installed

First off, I am very upset to say this, buuutttttt, all 4 mounts were sheared completely in half. Like, absolutely nothing connecting the frame bolt on side to the engine/tranny bolt on side. That and about 50% of each mount was missing. Thats BAD!

Anyways, got them installed just fine. Started the car and HOLY SHIT what a difference it made in feel and sound. My buddy that helped me install has a 540i and it almost felt like the rumble from that. Such a HUGE difference going from marshmallowy, broken, not really doing anything mounts to those AKG's.

                            Crazy.
