Mechanicals are "meh". I never have to adjust the seat so it stays put, but if you do try to mess with it it needs convincing sometimes. Leather is pretty good, on odd tear that is about 3 inches long on the back of the seat. Looks like a knife wound, not stitching falling apart. Overall much better then your average leather seat. It's pretty hard, and the bottom cushion isn't very straight. Black interior and California for 18 years will do that.
I still DD this seat 60 miles a day. It's not the most comfortable but I am really picky.
