    Fuck...help

I need to replace my transmission output shaft seal and selector rod seal. It's probably just the selector rod seal, but...while I'm in there. I have the know how (and a lot of Snap On tools:)), but I don't have a good place to work, especially now that it's snowing up here.

Can you guys recommend a shop or dealership to do the work? It's fine if I have to go to the Front Range, the shops up here are beyond awful. I leave for GA in a couple of weeks, and once back there I have access to lifts and such, but I don't want to chance it.

    Thanks in advance!

Seriously - It's the shift shaft seal. Don't bother with the output shaft seal unless you are CERTAIN it's leaking. It's a much bigger PITA than the shift shaft seal, and I've only ever seen one (out of 100+ cars) that was actually leaking from it.

Noted. I'm definitely not sure it's the output seal...in fact, I would be surprised. Chris, is this something that you would be willing to take on (FWIW, my car is absolutely rust free)?

Feel free to reply here or PM.

        Thanks again guys

He pretty much takes on any BMW work that comes into SCR Performance on the days that he works.
