My plan is to come up to WP w/ my brothers either the day before or the day after thanksgiving.

What day do you think would be better, independent of weather? Of course weather (snow) will be the biggest deciding factor.

Before thanksgiving. Very few people have that day off of work. Everyone has the day after thanksgiving off.

Opening day bumped up to this Saturday the 12th, previously planned for the 16th, as of this morning!

From what I'm hearing, Zephyr & Eskimo should both be open this weekend, so a nice long top-to-bottom runs will be available, and there are probably 12+ features in the park right now, more added pretty much daily. I got out Saturday & Sunday, naturally I'm still waiting for the snow to pile up, but it's fun regardless.

The snow is supposed to be great up there. I believe most resorts opened a few weeks early.

It's early season, the snow is man-made, but we've had lots of cold weather so it rides nice. If you're looking to cruise, jib, & drink some beers it's good fun. If you want to ride steep & deep, wait until January.

The point is, this is when my family is coming out from MD, they aren't coming in January.
