What is the best exhaust for an e30? Or i guess more popular. Kinda looking for a sporty but deep sounding sport sound. Also what are some very popular mods that are effectice for the e30? Little more performance and handling is what im lookin for

jackhammer, you really should be cruising through the rest of R3V doing reading and research. These sort of broad over-reaching questions have been addressed since the beginning of this forum. Also, go to youtube and do some searching for exhaust sounds, and see which one you like.

had them. it sucked, sounds terrible, no torque. Worst idea ever. The best M20 exhaust system is stock with a different catback. Keep the converters, there is significant proof on M20 cars that it gains you absolutely nothing by deleting them. See: euro 325i vs US 325i horsepower. exactly the same when you account for DIN vs SAE units, and (year dependent) the euro cars didn't have cats. No sense smelling awful if you're not gaining any power or torque.

Double for M42, they sound god awful without a resonator and muffler at minimum.

No, they're associated with cheap mods that are pointlessly useless, incredibly gaudy, ridiculously loud with poor sound, and excessively stupid.
