8:00....8:30? Doesn't really matter to me. Gates open at 9:00, meeting is at 9:45, track hot at 10:00.

Google says it's 50mins to HPR from the station, so lets meet there at 8?

Gives us time to grab coffee/vittles/chill for a bit before heading out.

Also, for HPR we need to sign up before friday to make sure they'll host the event.

Yeah. I am going to take it easy and not run a full day. I want to know how it behaves at the limit, which is always good to know. The E30 will be taken after that.

I don't know how many, and yes, 10car minimum. With you me chris brad I think we'll be fine.

Help me learn. Does anyone have a quick read on braking control? I don't want to fry my brakes like I did with the E30.

Hard and fast braking or longer and less pressure braking? Trying for 6/10ths here, not 9/10ths.

Hard and fast = less heat over time, but is trickier to do.

Brake less (or not at all). That is much easier on the brakes.

                              :)

So heat kills pads faster then pressure? I understand it's a function of both, but you get where I am getting with this. I am not worried about cooking the brakes, I am worried about saving the pads. I figured there is an accepted method for braking, so if it's fast and hard then I will attempt to work with that.
