GROUP BUY - custom CO roundels

    UPDATE - PRICING NOW DETERMINED!

    Hey all,

A couple of years ago I had a group in Littleton called QualityLapelPins.com create custom grille badges for a group I'm connected with back in Oklahoma. Here is what they came up with, and it's done with amazing quality:

It's a full metal body with molten glass used to create the colors, so these are as good as - if not better than - the BMW factory badges.

So I figured I'd contact them to see if they could mock up a roundel done up with Colorado flag colors. I'm working with them to get these made to replace the factory roundels on your bonnet and boot lid.

Any interest in something like this? I'm getting pricing from the manufacturer and will post over to R3Vlimited, too. If anyone here is on the BMWCCA threads, please feel free to share the post. Obviously the price comes down the more orders get made.

    PRICING UPDATE:

    From the manufacturer:
"The badges we make are hard enamel, like the real car badges of the 1960's. Each one will have a curve to it during the firing process.
    The costs are:
    20 pieces, $44.00 each
    30 pieces, $35.90 each
    40 pieces, $33.25 each"

I'll start a list for folks who want to order. I plan to get 4 roundels - one front and one rear for each of my Bimmers. Post up here or PM me and let me know how many you want. I'll leave this open for a couple of weeks and I'm not going to place an order until all the money is in. I can either create a PayPal account for these or I might possibly be able to arrange for payments to be made directly to the supplier. I will be glad to handle the final order and product pickup. We can then either arrange a group meet to hand out the roundels or you can pay the mail fee and I can mail it to your house/office/whatever.

And again, forward this link to any other enthusiast boards here in CO. The more we can order the lower the unit price is for everyone.

I'd be more interested in a grille badge, and a bonnet badge replacement

A grill badge would be swell.

Badass....but would these fit an E36? Not sure if E30 roundels are substantively different.
