I've got a set that need some work. Slight curb rash on 1, maybe 2" worth, all need paint/powder-coating, and maybe some light straightening or a good balance. Anyone have suggestions or (better still) firsthand experience with shops in the Denver/Golden/Boulder areas?

http://www.trudesignwheel.net/ is probably the best bet.
Spec is good, but you have to prep your wheels really well before going there.
Woody's will charge you an arm and a leg.
I know Alex was asking me about wheel refinishers a while ago, I forgot to shoot you a PM. Sorry man.

Did a fine job on both sets and would return again for a repair quote if / when I have a set of damaged wheels.

I thought I would add to this for people interested in prices.
I took some MX5 miata 17x7 10-spoke wheels to Jim at true design wheel to get redone. I would consider this set of wheels 5/10 to start.
He is straighten all four, one of which has a large bend in the lip. 3/4 have curb rash that will be fixed. All four are getting striped, powder coated, and cleared. And this is with tires so it's extra for dismounting/re-balance.
It will be $135 a wheel. A little much...but there is a lot of work involved as this is the "full package". Still it will cost me a few hundred less for the wheels over aftermarket ugly wheels.
